PM inaugurates 19 km Haryana section of Dwarka Expressway
– views

Prime Minister Narendra Modi opened the Haryana section of Dwarka Expressway on March 11, 2024, as part of a programme covering 112 national highway projects. The stretch is about 19 km long and cost around Rs 4,100 crore.

It has two parts: 10.2 km from the Delhi-Haryana border to the Basai rail overbridge, and 8.7 km from Basai to Kherki Daula. The corridor includes an eight-lane elevated structure on single piers, multi-level interchanges and underpasses below NH-48.

The whole 29 km expressway runs from Shiv Murti near Mahipalpur to the Gurugram bypass. At the time, the full project was budgeted at about Rs 9,000 crore, with the Delhi side still under construction.

What it means for buyers: this opening turned sectors such as 102-113 from future plans into places with a working road. It is the point from which most corridor price comparisons begin.
